From June 23 to 27, 2027, school, university, community and youth choirs can come together in Costa Rica for music, cultural exchange and a non-competitive festival experience designed around learning, connection and peace.
Why a non-competitive festival matters even more for young singers
Competitive festivals can motivate some singers, but they can also reduce a first international choir trip to a score, a ranking or a few high-pressure minutes on stage.
Choral Fest Costa Rica takes a different path. Youth choirs perform, listen, learn and take part in shared musical experiences without being ranked against one another.

No. Choral Fest Costa Rica for Peace is non-competitive. Youth choirs perform, learn, listen and connect without rankings, medals or placements.
Can school choirs participate?

Does a youth choir need previous international experience?

How many participants should a choir bring?
A delegation of approximately 16 participants is recommended, although each case can be reviewed.

Yes. Companions can be considered as part of the delegation and should be included in lodging, transportation and activity planning.
