The Pro-Peace Association Choral Fest Costa Rica is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting peace nationally and internationally through artistic, cultural, educational, recreational, tourism-related and community-based activities.
Its main project, Choral Fest Costa Rica for Peace, brings together choirs, singers, directors and communities around a shared conviction: music can become a bridge for understanding, friendship and peace.
We believe that peace is not only an idea. It is something that can be practiced through listening, cooperation, respect and the experience of singing together.

Who we are
The Pro-Peace Association Choral Fest Costa Rica organizes and supports initiatives that use music and culture as tools for encounter, education and peace-building.
Through the international choral festival, community activities, educational spaces and cultural exchange, the Association seeks to create experiences where people from different backgrounds can meet through music.
Our work is rooted in a simple belief:
When people sing together, they can also learn to listen, respect and belong together.
Our purpose
The Association exists to promote peace through experiences that bring people closer.
Choral music allows people from different countries, languages, ages and cultures to share a common space. It teaches discipline, listening, sensitivity, cooperation and collective responsibility.
For this reason, we understand choral singing as more than performance.
It is a way to build community. It is a way to strengthen cultural understanding. It is a way to remind people that harmony is created when different voices learn how to coexist.
Our objectives
The Pro-Peace Association works to:
- Bring together people from different origins and nationalities to sing for peace
- Strengthen bonds of friendship among peoples through choral music
- Support the artistic growth of singers, directors and participating choirs

About Choral Fest Costa Rica for Peace
Choral Fest Costa Rica for Peace is an international choral festival that welcomes choirs from around the world to sing in Costa Rica within a framework of peace.
The festival may include concerts, rehearsals, workshops, master classes, cultural exchange and activities designed to create brotherhood and connection among participants through choral music.
The festival also seeks to support the progress of participating choirs by creating learning opportunities for both singers and choral conductors.
Its purpose is to offer a cultural space in Costa Rica where choral music can create fraternal bonds, artistic growth and meaningful human experiences.
A history rooted in music and peace
The Pro-Peace Association was born from a deep love for choral music and from the desire to help build a more harmonious world.
